Premium SBR Latex

Resinseal™ premium sbr is a professional grade styrene butadiene copolymer emulsion which can be used as a primer and admixture.
Primer use:
It is an excellent primer for use on porous surfaces such as gypsum plaster, fibre cement board, old/worn concrete,sand/cement screeds and render. It reduces porosity, surface dusting and improves initial tack so that subsequently applied adhesives, renders or screeds can achieve a secure and lasting key with the base substrate.
It can be applied neat or mixed with cement to form a slurry and applied to the underside of paving for secure intercoat adhesion to the bedding mortar.
Admixture use:
It significantly increases the performance of sand and cement mixtures.
Its non-foaming formulation controls the density of concrete which contributes to a compressive and flexural strength increase.
The polymer matrix spread through the mix increases strength and water resistance which results in improved freeze:thaw resistance and long term durability of concrete and mortars.
